Odisha government is planning to design the doors of every house in the village with decorative work. Besides, the water supply system, sanitation facility would also be strengthened. The state government is also planning to construct a guest house in the village.
The state government is also planning to develop a state-of-the-art common facility centre, a raw material bank by Utkalika for the crafts persons and better connectivity for the village.
A museum on Odissa’s arts and crafts, sculpture and dance forms like Pattachitra and Gotipua has been proposed as part of the development of the village.
The village with total 150 households attracts over one lakh tourists including 5,000 foreign tourists.
