Bainkuntha Nath Mohapatra becomes first Odia to be appointed as Railway Board Financial Commissioner at Railway Board, New Delhi. Before this he was working as Additional Member/Finance of Railway Board at New Delhi. He has a Post Graduate with Political Science from Delhi University, joined Indian Railways Accounts Service in 1980. He is originally from Ganjam district.
