Radio Choklate 104 FM, a leading FM station in Odisha, was awarded at the third edition of UNICEF Radio4Child Awards in 3 categories

Radio Choklate 104 FM, a leading private FM station in Odisha, was awarded at the third edition of UNICEF Radio4Child Awards in three categories last evening. This year, the awards were given for airing special programmes on two themes -Measles Rubella and Child Sexual Abuse.RJs Sampark (Junior) and Sangram from Radio Choklate were felicitated with the Best Spot award for campaigning on child sexual abuse through programme ‘Brave Boy’.

Similarly, RJs Nivy and Srikant from the FM station bagged the Best Promo award for the programme ‘Ruchi ka Darr’ on the same subject.

Besides, RJ Komal won the Best RJ Link award for the programme titled ‘MR Teeka’ on measles rubella.

UNICEF celebrity advocate Kareena Kapoor Khan gave away the awards. Total 152 entries from all radio stations (All India Radio & Private FM) across the country were received for awards this year. Meanwhile, Radio Choklate Director Tanaya Patnaik congratulated the awardees for their achievements.
