About `1.47 crore has been sanctioned under ‘Jajabara’ scheme for the construction of a motel, which was long pending due to lack of funds, at the gateway to western Odisha at Rairakhol. The motel, for which two acres of land has been identified, would be constructed at Nayapalli at the entrance of Rairakhol on NH-55. It will have rest rooms, toilets, restaurant, souvenir shop, parking space and other facilities for the passengers travelling from Bhubaneswar.
It will also help promote local artifacts and handloom products. Besides, it will attract tourists and picnickers to Debjharan, located about 30 kms from Rairakhol
