The temple city Bhubaneswar (BBSR) and Mohali likely to be the two different venues to host the 14th Edition of Hockey World Cup 2018, said Federation of International Hockey President Leandro Negre in a Press Meet on Saturday.  The final decision would take place in the month of November 2015. The first and formaost aim of the FIH to promote and papularise hockey throughout the World. The only away to reach the maximum is the broadcaster and in their opinion six league matches in a day is not at all ideal. In view of that we are planning to organise world cup hockey in two different venues, added Negre. Once open a time India dominated the world hockey, presently I am extremely happy that India is the first Asian country to qualify for the Rio Olympics 2016. The Indian hockey is growing day by day and having bright future, further added Negre. The Kalinga Stadium is having good infrastructure and crowd here is awesome, really hockey lovers which impressed me a lot. The changing of new rules is for the benefit of the sports of hockey, said Negre.
