Odia feature film ‘Krantidhara’ has earned a nomination for screening at prestigious Cannes Film Festival-2015 on May 18.
After Cannes, the movie has also been nominated to be screened at Canada’s Hidden James Film Festival. While most Indian language movies have been displayed in this film festival,Krantidhara becomes the first Odia movie to be screened here.
Earlier, ‘Krantidhara’ had been nominated for the 12th Chennai International Film Festival and the 7th Bengaluru International Film Festival (IFF) in India where it was displayed in the Panorama section of Indian Cinema category in Chennai and is in the competitive category at the Bengaluru.
