The Baramunda bus terminal will get a makeover. Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) will be taking up the re-development project. At a recent meeting, the BDA has decided to hire a design consultant, who will conduct a survey and submit a design.
Apart from including passenger amenities and re-designing the bus terminal to accommodate around 1,500 buses, commercial complexes will be built around it. “We have set tentative priorities to modernize the terminal given the present condition and future requirement. There may be few modifications after the survey and submission of designs by the design consultant,” said a BDA insider.
