The Police Commissionerate App has included a host of new features including the PUSH notification system which will enable real time flow of various important information for benefit of common citizens. GPS-aided traffic flow information with notifications on traffic density, snarls, diversions and suggestions to commuters across the Twin City is a major addition.
The App users will get time to time live notifications on their mobile phones. It will also inform law and order issues to the users while also promoting public awareness on many issues along with crime prevention.
App users will also get live feed on the availability of prepaid autos along with their tariff in the Twin City. It will also, from now, provide updated and detailed information along with access to different police stations in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The ‘Know Your Police Station’ section will guide the user to the police station concerned.
