Konark Sun Temple in Odisha is remarkable for its wheels. The temple has been built in the form of a giant ornamented chariot of the Sun God, Surya.
The temple has 12 pairs of elaborately carved stone wheels. Each is 3 m wide and the chariot temple is pulled by 7 horses. According to wikipedia, wheels were used as sundials.
