Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), an autonomous institute run by the central government, at Olatpur in Cuttack district will expand its institute by adding 100 more beds in its hospital.
SVNIRTAR, which is established for treatment and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities of the state, has a total of 100-bed now. This project will add 100 more beds to establish the institute as a ‘Centre of Excellence for Deformity Correction’ to meet the growing need of the patients, said institute’s director Dr Shakti Prasad Das.
