NTPC to build world class ITI institute in Ganjam Odisha

NTPC today signed a MoU with the Odisha government to set up a world-class Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Bhusanda under Sheragarh tehsil in Ganjam district. The ITI, with a capacity of 200 students, shall be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.72 crore.

Odisha government shall provide suitable land to the NTPC free of cost for the proposed institute.The ITI shall contribute to the state target of training and employment of one million youth during the next five years. The institute will have advanced vocational training facilities in Manufacturing, Automobile, ESDM, Electricals etc. to cater to high-end finishing skill training need of the trained candidates and training of the trainers with the support of the NTPC and the state government.
