Odisha girls continue to make their presence felt in the national soccer squad and that was reflected again on Friday when five girls of the state were picked for the forthcoming AFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2014 to be played in Amman, Jordan from November 3 to 10.
The five Odisha girls picked by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the championship are Pyari Xaxa, Tikina Samal, Sinulata Sahoo, Rachita Malik and Menaka Malik, informed sources in the Football Association of Odisha (FAO).
