The Indian athletics team won eight medals — two golds, one silver and five bronzes — in their first outing at the Asian Grand Prix Series here on Monday. Altogether there were 14 events held in the first leg of the Asian GP.
Sprinter Srabani Nanda of Odisha clinched third spot with a timing of 11.58secs in the women’s 100m.
