Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik assured Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to help in post cyclone restoration work. CM Patnaik assured his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu all help required by the neighbouring state badly hit by the severe cyclonic storm Hudhud. Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu sought men and machine from Odisha for road clearing by cutting trees and restoration of power lines. Patnaik informed the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister that teams to clear roads along with tree cutting machines and equipment for power restoration would be sent immediately, sources said. The teams will also carry mega diesel operated generator sets and special relief commissioners of both states would remain in constant touch for further help.
