BMC rolled out a mechanized sweeping machine to clear dust from city roads. nitially, the machine will be used on 11 major roads, including AG Square to Governor House and New Airport area, Governor House to Power House Square, AG Square to Acharya Vihar, Master Canteen to Vani Vihar and Power House Square to Kalinga Hospital. After successful operation, more areas will be covered.
The mechanized process will start at 10 pm every day and continue till 6am. To avoid traffic disruptions, the roads are being swept at night.
