Made in both English and Odia by ‘Lighthouse’, a Bhubaneswar based production house, ‘Debata Hoeele Maraee’ seeks to capture the religious significance of the grand festival called Nabakalebara. It has been directed by Sanjay Kanungo and Gurujee Swetachandan.
Based on research, the original Odia script for the film was done by eminent writer Dr Bibudharanjan. The script has been rendered into English by senior journalist Sandeep Sahu.
