Hockey India today named Deep Grace Ekka as the skipper and four other junior women hockey players from Odisha as members of the 18-member national team for a Test series against New Zealand beginning from November 3 to 15.
The test series will continue till November 15.
The tour will be part of the team’s preparations for the Junior Women Asia Cup scheduled next year.
Besides Ekka, the four other state players are Namita Toppo, Lilima Minz, Punam Barla and Anupa Barla.
