Odisha based hockey franchise Kalinga Lancers unveiled their new jersey for HIL 2017 in a glittering function. The team also announced German player Moritz Fuerste as their captain for the current season, which will start from January 21. Fuerste had also led the side last season.
IDCO CMD and chairman of OSDPC Sanjay Kumar Singh, Orissa sports and youth services department commissioner-cum-secretary Vishal Kumar Dev, MCL general manager BB Mishra and Tata Steel chief executive Manikant Nayar were present as guests during the unveiling of the jersey.
The new uniform will make its in-game debut at the first match, when Kalinga Lancers will take on Delhi Waveriders at the Kalinga Stadium here January 22.
