The name of the weekly event “Raahgiri,” aimed at promoting non-motorised transport system in the Capital city, was rechristened on Saturday. The new name was announced by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena. The new name is ‘Bhubaneswar Pathotsav, Ama Sahara Ama Rasta.’ The decision was taken at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Jena. Three proposals for the new name will be awarded by the BMC. The name of the awardees will be announced during an event on Sunday.
