The skeletal frame of 31 feet Whale, which was washed ashore on the beach near Puri’s Astarang in December last year, is ready to be exhibited at the Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhubaneswar on Monday.
After the chemical preservation and mechanical structuring, the toothed predator stands about 28 feet in length. A special gallery has been created to showcase the prized mammal at the museum, which has chosen its 11th foundation day to unveil the giant whale.
