Showcase Odisha awards for the year 2014 shall be given away at a glittering ceremony on the 25th of December at Bhubaneswar. The awards have been growing in stature with every passing year and after saluting the achievements of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, DIlip Tirkey, Sudarshan Patnaik, Sona Mahapatra, Dr. Santrupt Mishra, Sandip Das amongst other achievers in the past, this year too, seven personalities who have made Odisha proud with their achievements in their respective fields shall be felicitated by eminent personalities of the state. Rituraj, the newest singing sensation of Bollywood, Pitobash, highly acclaimed actor who has made Odisha proud by acting in Hollywood, P.K Mohapatra whose untiring work during Phailin brought global accolades for our state, Dutee, the gritty sprinter, Yash who runs a most sought after TV production house in Mumbai, Anjan, promoter of Mainland China and Ileana, renowned Odissi dancer– are all inspiring stories that shall be saluted and felicitated on the 25th of December at The New Marrion. A conclave “Enrooted Creative Entrepreneurship”, that shall have eminent panelists discussing and sharing their thoughts on achieving success as a creative entrepreneur, shall also be conducted as part of the evening show.
