Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is going to receive Academic Excellence Award for 2015. This is the third straight selection of the university for the award.
OUAT was selected for the award on the basis of its students’ performance in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research fellowship examination. It secured first position among the country’s 73 agriculture universities with 35 students qualifying for the council’s junior research fellowship. In 2013, 14 students had secured the fellowship.
