Since all three chicken fresh outlets operating in Bhubaneswar on pilot basis are doing good business, a DPR is being prepared to open 53 outlets with a cost of Rs 5.54 crore on Build-Operate-Lease-Transfer (BOLT) basis with active participation of OPOLFED along with the private entrepreneurs. Nearly 300 people will get direct employment through the 53 new chicken fresh outlets. The FARD Department has set a target to install 20 outlets in urban areas of the state by end of the year in the first phase.
