Air India sources will convert its domestic flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar (AI 877) for international operations. The flight number will be changed to AI 077. The Air India will run AI 874, which will be renamed as AI 078 for carrying international passengers to Delhi.
Major part of travel formalities will be completed in Bhubaneswar airport. Besides Air India, people can books tickets in 26 other international airlines that are part of the Start Alliance Network. We hope customs and immigration setup at Bhubaneswar will make it easier for other airlines to introduce real international connectivity to/from Bhubaneswar.
