The State Cabinet on Tuesday cleared six proposals, including the Odisha StartUp policy at a meeting here today.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik chaired the meeting held at the State Secretariat.
The Cabinet cleared Odisha Start up Policy which targets to set up at least 1,000 start ups in the next five years was discussed in the meeting.
As per the start up guidelines the Government will constitute Rs. 25 crore start-up fund to provide monthly assistance to young entrepreneurs.
The Cabinet while approving the Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill decided to table it at a special Assembly session on September 1.
