Odisha government has launched a dedicated website www.medhabruti.org through which students can get detailed information and register themselves for various scholarships on offer to pursue higher studies, both in the general and technical categories. The website still shows work in progress though and hopefully things will be released here soon.
These “e-medhabruti” scholarships are to be granted to the students on ‘merit-cum-means’ basis irrespective of caste or any other considerations. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the student. A special girls’ merit scholarship for Technical and Professional courses will also be awarded to girl students.
