This conference is the annual convention of National Neonatology Forum which takes place in different places all over India every year. This time the organising committee has chosen Orissa for the venue. Orissa is always in a highlighted stage for natal, neonatal and infant mortality. It is the second and the third largest in neonatal and infant mortality rate.
This conference will accommodate around 1200 delegates from all over India and abroad who are basically neonatologists, pediatricians and nurses dealing with neonatal care and people like obstetricians, radiologists and other medical people who are connected with new born care are also participating in the conference.
During the three day conference period we have arranged one workshop on 10th of December where eminent faculties from India and abroad are coming to teach the PG students and delegates about the modern developments and various topics of neonatology for better understanding and hand holding for the candidates. These faculties coming from different parts of India and abroad will deliver their talk about various aspects of neonatology. From basic neonatology like breast feeding, KMC and normal care of new born to all the recent advances in neonatal care like use of ventilator, high frequency ventilator, advanced ventilator, CPAP and non invasive ventilator.
NEOCON 2015 will definitely impact in a bigger way all over India as the delegates, the PG student and the residents who are coming from all over India and abroad to learn about neonatology. This conference will highlight the developments in medical science and recent upgradations aimed at increasing the knowledge and skill of the doctors, paramedical staff and nurses associated with Neonatal care.
